A.I.M. Northern BC is a group of local volunteers who are all concerned about helping injured [motorcycle] riders. We try to accomplish this goal through education, and addressing concerns of riders in our area. While we cannot take on Government agencies with issues, we can address them at a City or Provincial level. For instance if there is a particularily dangerous section of road, we can bring it to the attention of the City.
In the event that there is a crash involving a motorcycle, we will provide moral and caring support. We achieve this through Visitations and education, and in some cases financial help. We will provide information to a fallen rider or their family to assist them on how to deal with an accident, and what steps should be taken.
We will also provide a list of Lawyers known to be proficient in the area of Motorcycling accidents (but we will not refer any one in particular). We are not a referral agency, and do not work with, or for, any particular Law office. We are here to help you on your path to recovery, and to make this rough time as easy as possible for everyone.
We are here to help -- all you need to do is ask.
The Northern BC Chapter of AIM covers a large territory -- from Williams Lake North through Prince George, East to McBride and Valemount areas, North East through Dawson Creek, Ft. St. John, and from the West Coast to the North Coast.
While our coverage is quite large, we always try to keep tabs on what is happening through area representatives. We currently have representatives in the Dawson Creek, Williams Lake, and Vanderhoof areas. If you are a member or a rider in another outlying area and would like to help, we are always looking for volunteers to serve their local areas; please feel free to contact us for more information.
